Pulsea (“Pulsea”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is provided by Pulsea Team. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Pulsea mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1) Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected:
- Through the Pulsea app and any in-app pages, features, and communications; and
- Through customer support interactions with Pulsea Team.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms that you may access through the Service. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.


2) What Pulsea Does

Whether you are a fitness enthusiast, personal trainer, or someone starting their wellness journey, Pulsea provides the perfect space to document, share, and celebrate your progress.


3) Information We Collect
We collect information in three main ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information collected automatically, and (C) information collected with your permission (such as location).

3.1 Information you provide
Depending on how you use the Service, you may provide:
- Account information: name, username, email address.
- Customer support: the content of messages you send to us, including any information you choose to provide in support requests.

3.2 Information collected automatically
When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:
- Device information: device model, operating system version, language, time zone, app version, and unique device or advertising identifiers where permitted by your device settings and applicable law.
- Usage data and analytics: interactions with the app, feature usage, approximate timestamps, and other performance/diagnostic information.
- Crash and error logs: diagnostic information to help us detect and fix issues.

3.3 Location information (with your permission)
If you grant location permission, we may collect:
- Precise location (GPS-level) or approximate location (such as from network or device settings), depending on your device permission choices.
You can enable or disable location access at any time via your device settings. If you decline location permission, some features may be limited.

5) Photos, Face-Related Processing, and Biometrics
Pulsea may allow you to select photos for certain features.
- No face recognition / no biometric identification: We do not perform face recognition or use biometric identifiers/templates for identification.
- One-time processing and deletion: Any face-related processing (if present) is used only to generate a result one time, and the source data is deleted after generation.
- Local by default: Processing and storage are local by default when supported by your device; outputs are stored locally unless you choose to upload/share content through the Service.
- No training / no marketing: We do not use your photos or face-related data to train machine learning models or for marketing/advertising purposes.


6) How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- Provide and maintain the Service: create accounts, authenticate users, operate core features, and provide functionality.
- Personalization: remember settings and tailor in-app experiences (where applicable).
- Improve and develop: understand how the Service is used, fix bugs, improve performance and user experience.
- Safety and security: protect users, prevent abuse, enforce our terms, detect fraud, and secure the Service.
- Customer support: respond to inquiries and troubleshoot issues.
- Legal compliance: comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and enforceable governmental requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent legal mechanisms, and we apply appropriate technical and organizational measures.

- Encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate;
- Access controls and least-privilege principles;
- Regular security reviews/audits and monitoring;
- Backups and recovery practices.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.


10) Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Retention guidelines:
- Account data (name/username/email): retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize account data within 30 days, unless we must retain certain information for legal reasons.
- Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated/anonymized.
- Support communications: retained for up to 6 months after the support matter is resolved, then deleted or anonymized.
- Crash and diagnostic logs: retained for a limited period necessary for troubleshooting and security.


11) Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access / know what we have collected about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete information;
- Restrict or object to certain processing (where applicable);
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent), including location permission via your device settings.

- We will respond within 5 business days. For security, we may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.


12) Children and Age Requirement
The Service is intended for users age 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.


13) Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services (such as analytics or crash reporting) to help operate and improve the Service. These providers may collect information as described in their own privacy policies, and we require them to process information on our behalf under contractual terms, where applicable.
